First, Pack 226 has lots of fun.  We know because we are two of the cubs.  To start off, the uniform is super cool plus you get  badges, belt loops and pins for a number of accomplishments that are fun to do.  What are the ranks in cub scouts?  Well, there are Tigers, Wolves, Bears, and Webelos.

This was only our first year as a pack, and we did so many cool things.  A few of them include the Cub Scout Extravaganza, The Broke Back Dog overnight trip, a visit to our local Sheriff’s office, the Shy Wolf Sanctuary, Cub Scout Field Day, Scout Sunday, Cake Auction, Pinewood Derby, and the Big Cypress Shootout just to name a few.  Don’t worry if you missed these great events, we plan on doing them year after year!

If you are a kid (which you probably are if you are reading this) – have you thought about what you want to do when you are older?  Well, Scouting will get you ready for whatever that you want to be.  You will learn lots of things that people need to know like:  CPR, how to build a fire, knot tying, cooking, and how to work on a team.  Most importantly, you will grow closer to God and grow in the virtues.

   Also, we have a professional  photographer who takes great pictures.  Why not join and be in some of the future pictures that she will be taking?

   So, please think seriously about joining and tell your friends - they will love it too.
